Challenge Event
General Rules:
- The competition is open to all senior college students.
- Each participant/team must register before the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Participants must provide a valid college ID card at the time of registration and on the day of the event.
- Setup Time: Each team will get 2 minutes for stage setup before their performance.
- Participants should report 30 minutes before the event.
- The use of formations and transitions will be considered in the judging criteria.
- Bonus points may be awarded for creative use of the theme in performance.
- The decision of the judges is final and cannot be challenged.
Time Limit
- Solo Dance: 3 + 2 minutes.
- Group Dance: 5 + 3 minutes.
- Group Dance: 3 to 12 participants.
- Exceeding the time limit will result in the point deduction.
Dance and Music
- Freestyle or Fusion Dance style is allowed.
- Participants may use a mix of songs, but they must be edited beforehand.
- Music must be submitted in MP3 format 5 days before the event. Participants should bring a backup on a USB drive to avoid any issues.
Props and Costumes
- Participants must arrange their own costumes and props.
- Dangerous props (fire, sharp objects, liquids, powders) are prohibited.
- Props must be placed and removed within the allotted setup time.
- Costumes should be decent; vulgar attire leads to disqualification.
- Teams must clear props immediately after their performance.
- Props must be handled by the dancer without external help.
- Bright and colourful costumes apt for the performance are encouraged for extra Bonus Points.
Inappropriate Behaviour
- The use of offensive, inappropriate, or explicit lyrics will lead to disqualification.
- Vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate gestures, dialogues, or movements will result in immediate disqualification.
- Arguing with judges or organizers may lead to disqualification.
Organizers have the right to modify rules if required, and participants will be informed in advance.
